Good Morning everyone & happy Wednesday… I don’t know about you but this week has been flying by luckily… It will be Friday before we all know it!

So first of all, before I forget, anyone watch Biggest Loser?  AHHHH, I was not a fan of the big cliffhanger at the end… And I was very disappointed that Bernie didn’t make it back considering he missed the cut-off by 1 lb!  I’m still rooting for Britney and I hope she gets to stay another week… we will find out next week, it’s getting tense!

I woke up a little earlier this morning, so I was able to snap a quick pic for ya’ll… I thought my breakfast looked so pretty & colorful today… I almost wanted to add some blueberries too but wasn’t sure how appetizing it would look, since it would be a purple/red oatmeal mess!  My grandmom had picked up strawberries the other day and gave some to my mom, so I decided to shop up a couple and add to my oatmeal, I never had this combination before and I loved it, especially since I’m a huge strawberry fan and to me it signals the start of the spring season :D   In my oatmeal was the usual flax+cinnamon, but I also added a handful of crushed walnuts AND an egg white!  I saw Emma’s breakfast post the other day on Gliding Calm and decided to give it a whirl… I used one egg white and couldn’t really tell except it was slightly thicker and I had a tiny clump of egg after it cooked, but I like eggs so it was still yummy haha…   I also am drinking my coffee now for a boost…

I ate this breakfast at 6am & I plan to have a mid-am snack of two clementines (sorry no pic!) around 9am… I’ll be back for lunch ~ have a great morning!

Yummy!! I think I like the look of pink oats better than purple. I’ve never been a big fan of purple. :-) Happy Wednesday!

Wow it looks great! Never thought of an egg white in the oatmeal. Hmm. Sounds like it could be great.

oooh, your oatmeal looks scrumptious – I like the pink color that the strawberries contribute to the oats, as well :0) happy Wednesday!

Chandra ~ Hehe, yeah I think I actually liked the taste of “pink” oats over “purple”, but I also think it’s because my strawberries were fresh & my blueberries are normally frozen! Hope your day gets better!

Cara ~ yeah it was pretty good & an extra source of protein, I just have to learn how to mix better so I dont have a chunk of egg next time!

VeggieGirl ~ Happy Wednesday to you too!!! I think I have a new name for this breakfast, “pink oats”… Hope you have a great one!
