The baby shower was a lot of fun… The room was so cutely decorated with pinks & blues, although I think she is having a boy… we shall see!  Our lunch/dinner was really good but I didn’t snap any pictures, simply because I didn’t know a lot of the people there so I didn’t want anyone asking any questions about why Bill’s fiance was taking pictures of her food hehe… We had a side salad to start with and then broiled flounder (ate about half) with some mashed potatoes (ate about half too) and string beans almondine (very yummy!)… For dessert we had a piece of the baby shower cake with a sliver of ice cream, it was a really cute cake!  One of her friends’ friends (she just makes them for fun out of her house with no culinary experience!) made this adorable cake, which was too pretty to cut, so I just wanted to share it with you all – I thought it was adorable!

Now I am settling down with laptop in lap and I’m in my pj’s already (yes I know it’s not even 6pm yet!) and about to do some more work on my Starbucks project… I think staying out last night until 2am is really catching up with me… I’ll be back later with a “dinner” post because I know I’ll need to eat something in a bit, probably oatmeal or cereal!

Oh and I know I mentioned we got our wedding bands yesterday, but we didn’t really “get” them, they are just “on order”, but when we get them in a few weeks, I’ll be sure to post a pic!
