I can’t believe Wednesday is almost over already! Where has the week gone? I am not complaining however because after tomorrow is over then my big presentation for school will be over as well and that means only two more weeks in school
I am pumped! Anyway, enough about that… my lunch held me over for a while, not sure if it was all the protein in the tuna or what, but I was impressed… I had a Cliff Z Bar mid-afternoon as a snack just because I knew I couldn’t go without having a mid-afternoon snack, plus the chocolatey brownie flavor doesn’t hurt…
Dinner was another one of my mom’s yummy creations… it was whole wheat pasta & tons of veggies (spinach, broccoli, carrots, olives, roasted red peppers, green peppers, etc.) with a olive oil/garlic sauce… this was SO filling…

I was debating about what to do for a workout, whether I should brave the crowds at the gym or take advantage of the nice 60 degree weather here, so I opted to take advantage of the sun & the time savings (from driving) and workout outside… I went for a nice 60 minute bike ride around my neighborhood and then came back to do some abs… I realized that the ACS Bike-A-Thon is in less than 3 months, so it was good that I got back on the bike… I need to start riding more often now! Spinning helps for endurance, but just sitting on a moving bike and pedaling is a little bit different… All in all, I think it was time spent well and I think I enjoyed my relaxing & stress-reducing bike ride slightly more than going to the gym
Now I am off to prepare for the presentation tomorrow night & head to bed a bit earlier… I have been exhausted this whole week, so it will be nice to get a little extra sleep!

I can’t believe it’s almost over either – this week is flying by!!
Pasta with piles of vegetables = my FAVORITE comfort meal (just like what I had for my birthday celebration lunch!)
I too have a presentation tomorrow morning!!! I’ll be thinking of you while I’m giving my presentation, hoping that you’re doing well, haha.

Recently I have only been going to the gym for my step class. Otherwise I have been running outside. I love it so much more than running on a treadmill.
Good luck with the bike-a-thon!

Jill ~ Oh how cool… sounds like a neat race
Chandra ~ Really? You should definitely try, I was never into bike riding until about 3 years ago
Monica ~ That’s too funny we ate similar meals!
Christina ~ I think that is what excites me most, when my meals are ultra colorful! It is fun, isn’t it? I find it’s a great way to let go of all my stress that has built up!
Cara ~ Yeah I think being outside w/ the scenary and nice weather makes my workout so much more enjoyable! Thanks

I know I’ve seemed MIA over here, but I’ve been reading all about your yummy food escapades every day! Commenting takes vital time away from sleep these past few weeks..
You dinner looks so good. I love how your mom always incorporates healthy foods into the meals. That is awesome!
