Wow – this was a great, warming (even though it’s 70 degrees outside!), and filling post-workout snack (aka treat!)… I am SO stuffed right now… I’m thinking about trying this as a breakfast or mid-morning snack soon! It was 1/2 cup pumpkin, 10 crushed Annie’s honey bunny grahams, about 7 walnut halves crushed, and an egg white… all microwaved together for yummy deliciousness!

That is the most amazing idea EVER. As soon as I get pumpkin I’m trying it out. Though I have cinnamon rather than honey crackers, hehe!
SUCH A COOL IDEA.
and Im all about the hot foods in hot weather…my husband thinks Im so odd (but hey, it’s always sorta hot in TX so I have to !
)
That is such a cool idea! I’ve never thought of making pumpkin cake with graham crackers and walnuts! Yum! have an awesome Thursday! Lindsey!
Graham crackers in oatmeal! Awesome!! I bet it was delicious, I love graham crackers in pies and stuff, but never thought of putting it in oatmeal! I’m going to have to give this a try
No what WHAT the weather conditions may be outside, nothing beats a warm treat :0)
Jill ~ mmmm I think cinnamon would be just as yummy!!
MizFit ~ hehe, people think I’m weird here in PA for eating oatmeal in summer, so I can definitely relate!
glidingcalm ~ It was delicious… I want to try adding yogurt to it next time
Hope you have a great Thursday too, Em!
oatmeal ~ I didn’t actually have the crackers in oatmeal, this was just pumpkin, but now you sparked a fabulous idea!
VeggieGirl ~ I definitely agree! Goes along with that whole fiber thing haha…
looks yummy! try adding a couple of mini chocolate chips and a little plain yogurt next time.. makes it seriously the best treat ever! i purposely eat a really light lunch so for my afternoon snack/treat i can have 100 g pumpkin, 100 g yogurt, 7 g mini chips, 5 g almonds, 5 g walnuts, and 1/2 serving grahams! i swear it is the best treat out there! i love this weather! bring on summer!
RhodeyGirl ~ Great idea! Mmmm… I want some now
