Oh Oatmeal

… how I missed you!

I started out this morning with good old oatmeal… I REALLY was craving it and can’t believe I went all day yesterday without having any… This combination was 1/2 banana with a mini raisin box added in, and of course flax and cinnamon… it tasted like the best bowl of oats ever, since I haven’t had any since Friday – so sad!  This picture was taken pre-microwave because I was in a rush and had to eat it at work…

Are any of you addicted to a certain healthy food that you basically can’t live without (or am I the only nut ;) )?

I have high hopes for today since it’s another fantastic sunny & bright day… I am loving our 70 degree spring weather, it makes waking up at the crack of dawn so much easier ;)   It is also my 2nd to last day of volunteering with the first grades, I can’t believe the program is coming to an end already, I feel like I just started it… Today we are teaching them about airplanes, both commercial and defense, should be an interesting lesson!

    Can’t go wrong with oatmeal!

    I’m addicted to kale, hempmilk, carob, apples, Larabars, oatmeal, hazelnut-butter, almond-butter…. the list goes on :0)

    it’s totally peanut butter and oatmeal. oh, and carrots. right now, i seriously couldn’t imagine my life without any of those!!!

    thanks for reminding me about J&K+8…as always i forgot until i saw your post last night. and i made my friend who was visiting watch it and she LOVED it. but, really, who doesn’t.

    definitely oatmeal and peanut butter for me! and tea! if i don’t have a cup of tea in a day or two i seriously miss it!

    i am an oatmeal, PB, AB, trail mix, sweet potato, tofu, larabar, soy latte – addict! (separately of course haha)

    FRUIT. OMG I CAN’T GO A DAY WITHOUT HAVING TONS OF IT. Seriously, during the winter, I’m awful, and I totally pay way too much money for “out of season” fruit. Watermelon, Honeydew… KIWIS in the summer are my new obsession. I love love L.O.V.E. Rasberries too, but only at this time of year! Hmm, I think that’s it? OH and definitely water ;) I certainly couldn’t live without that! Haha!

    You are adorable! You are not a nut, I am obsessed with lots of healthy food. I think because when I eat junk, my body feels gross! So I need to eat things that make me feel good! Oh and I miss oatmeal too if I haven’t had it in awhile :)

    I haven’t had oatmeal in WEEKS! I know…I don’t know whats going on but I can tell my body definitely misses it!

    Oh I heart the oatmeal too. I usually have at least one bowl every day (but I don’t mix it up like you do… I usually just have cinnamon and sugar or apple slices with it).

    But my FAVOURITE? Apples. Apples galore. I generally eat 3 or 4 in one day. I never tire of eating apples!

    I have too many healthy habit foods to count, but oatmeal is definitely high on my list!!

    The possibility of me living with out many foods is nuts… most fruits, OATMEAL, almonds, lettuce – er all veggies! ACK
