The gym was pure awesome today… I loved being able to take my time instead of rushing in and out of there like I normally do… On my way there I had half a Clif full sized PB bar…
When I got to the gym, I spent a good 30 minutes doing upper-body weights (primarily back, shoulders, and biceps)… then hit the spinning room with my brother for an intense 60 minute class… great workout… and burned 430 calories too
I tried not to push myself TOO hard today, so that I will be functioning for tomorrow’s 90 minute class (same teacher is teaching too – yay!)…
When I got home, I really wanted eggs after reading so many of your blogs containing them lately… I used one of the egg poachers that we received from our shower (we got 2)… the egg poacher is a microwavable one that apparently does not know how to work properly in our microwave because after a minute in the microwave, it popped open and spilled out all over the place… luckily, I was able to salvage them… I should have taken a picture, but I was in a state of panic trying to clean out the microwave and didn’t think
I made a toasted english muffin and also cooked up some Smart Bacon on the side to make a delicious “breakfast” sandwich… I couldn’t resist adding the hot sauce – mmmm, just too good! I forgot how much I love eggs…
After I ate this, I decided to try the new flavor of Stonyfield Yogurt that I picked up… Chocolate underground… I never had chocolate yogurt before but have always wanted to try it simply because it is CHOCOLATE! Being that I had some PB granola on hand, I decided to make a pb cup parfait (minus the fruit though!)…
This was delicious, but I don’t necessarily know if I’ll buy it again… I think for yogurts I prefer them to be fruity-flavored (with the exception of the maple flavor) and not necessarily this sweet (kind of shocked by looking at the nutritionals while I ate it: 170 cals & 39 g of sugar ?!?!)… but it did make for a good dessert…
Now I’m off to go veg-out and relax… oh and I have to fold the laundry that I completely forgot about until now – ooops!
For those of you traveling tomorrow, have a great 4th of July!

Mmm, hot sauce on an egg sandwich… good idea!
Laundry stinks… but at least your official first day of vacay will be housework free!

Your egg sandwich looks great. And a microwavable egg poacher! I like the idea of it (too bad it spilled all over!).
