Today is literally flying by, I spent the bulk of the morning & afternoon getting all of our stuff together so that tomorrow morning we will be able to get up and go, since we need to leave the house by 5:45am… My brother and I also went for an hour bike ride around our neighborhood and then filled up our Camelbacks (100oz) and water bottles (25oz) and got our other accessories together (bike jersey, padded shorts, bike socks, shoes, rider numbers, Gu, breakfast bagels)… and now I’m working on writing down the endpoint’s address for Bill… he is graciously picking us up at the finish line (since we literally end 70 miles from where we start)… If you can’t tell, the ability to be well-hydrated is SUPER important to me… Even though there are numerous rest stops along the way, I want to make sure we are still prepared…
I was pretty hungry since I didn’t get to eat lunch until 1:30pm… Since tomorrow marks the two-month mark for us, I thought it would be interesting to apply the concept of marriage to my lunch!
Here’s the basis for any great relationship… opposites attract you know…
Then I added some whole grain waffle love to create two unique individuals…
+
And they were joined together in pure bliss to create an amazing love… hehe, I am chuckling while typing this!
Seriously though, I’m not sure which waffle I liked better… the PB&Co. chocolate peanut butter is simply divine (sorry Julz, stole your blog title!)… it tastes like a Reese’s peanut butter cup, minus the artificial flavors and excess sugar… It was even better when I popped it into the microwave, I felt like I was eating fondue…
However, the blueberry preserves are sweet and ultra-flavorful… you could really taste the chunks of blueberries…
Either way, they are best when eaten together!
Mid afternoon I snacked on some PB cereal…
And now I am getting ready to head to Macaroni Grill with Bill to have my standard pre-ride pasta dinner! Back later with the pics!

Hehe, I loved this post – nothing better than Dark Chocolate Dreams on a waffle, and the blueberry preserves look awesome!
