Sleep & Blueberry Repeat
Happy Thursday, can you believe Friday is in sight? 
I have mixed feelings about this week b/c I thought it went by fast, but then yesterday felt like Thursday to me so I was all thrown off!
Well I continued my blueberry “trend” this morning, but have no fear, tomorrow will be a different breakfast, I already have some ideas… plus I’ll be sure to stock up on other fruit tomorrow especially considering that our produce store sent me some nice coupons too!
This wasn’t a new combination for me, but it’s one I haven’t had in a while:
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg white
Mix together & microwave on 50% power for 3 minutes… Then top with:
- 1/4 Honest Foods Blueberry Vanilla granola plank (other granola, perhaps the Bear Naked Blueberry, would be a good substitute)
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
Mix well, and savor every delicious bite ~ just like I did!
Well, it’s another dreary day here… the thunder & lightning was just awful again last night, so I was sadly awoken several times and as a result, I’m really struggling this morning! Hopefully the day will go fast, that’s all I can hope for
Mid-morning, I’ll be munching away on one of my mini Larabars…
I have received a lot of comments regarding where I found these at so I felt I’d address it here instead of in the black hole of comments I received these at a Larabar tent after a long-distance bike ride… I loved the mini size of them so much, I asked Larabar if they sell them in the mini size, but unfortunately they do not… They strictly make the mini size for promotional purposes unfortunately… but maybe if we generate enough buzz regarding it, they will hear us!
I hope that we can convince lara bar to follow Clif’s lead and make these mini’s. I think Clif only had the mini’s as a promo at first too, because a year ago I got a sample mini luna (lemon zest flavor) in the mail and right away I wanted them to sell them that size too.
Wait a minute… today isn’t Friday?? Oh man, I definitely thought it was, haha!! Now I’M all thrown off!!
Larabar definitely needs to market those mini ones – they’re too cute not to!! :0D

I had a near argument this morning with my husband because he was so sure that it was Friday. Hehe, it is always tough being the bearer of bad news so early in the morning!

I’m loving the mini Larabars too – we should totally start some buzz on their site!
I recently discovered Lara bars and Clif bars at my grocery store (I had no idea Safeway sold them!). Which ones are your favorite? I’ve never had them before but have been really interested in trying them so I’m trying to decide which flavour I should get.
I wish they made the Mini’s!! I keep commenting about that on my blog!

Boo! I love the mini Clif Bars! They are the perfect size snack. I think it would be a great idea for Larabars to do it too.
