My Wednesday kickboxing session caused me to be a sweaty and sleepy mess, plus it didn’t help that the weather is ultra-muggy and thunderstormy, which caused me to feel miserable afterwards… It was a hard workout and for the first time, I really felt my abs working (read: sore!) when doing kicks and push-ups… Believe it or not, I was happy about that
When I got home, I was too tired to think about a meal so I poached two eggs (it was a success this time!) and topped them with pepper and hot sauce and then had a piece of whole grain toast with Dickinson’s strawberry jam on top for instant carbs! It was a nice, filling “recovery” meal…
A little later, I wasn’t really hungry but felt like I needed something to fill my tummy before I went to bed, so I munched away on a nice “mix” cup of cereal! This was Honey Nut Cheerios and Peanut Butter Puffs… interesting combination, but nevertheless, it was delicious and satisfying!
