One of my faves

It was so weird eating at home with my parents on a Friday - I haven’t done this in YEARS, but nevertheless, it was a nice dinner… Plus, we had a repeat of a similar dinner earlier in the week tonight because it was quick and easy (not to mention DEEEEEEEEEELICIOUS), so we can get to work on the wedding projects

Hot Dog on a Whole Wheat Bun with Dijon Mustard, Bush’s Baked Beans, and Sweet Potato Fries

You all might find it either weird OR yummy, but I like to dip potatoes/fries into my baked beans… I don’t know why, but I always have and I think it’s SOOOOOOO good…

Now it’s off to tackle the projects… I’m sure there will be snacks involved because I’m still kind of hungry and craving something sweet… I’ll be back with whatever I wind up snacking on :)

  1. Aww, glad you had a nice dinner with your family.

SWEET POTATOES!!! Yum. I like the idea of dipping it in the beans, actually, haha :0)

    Good luck with your projects!!

  2. Glad you had a great dinner with your parents! :D

And dipping the fries in baked beans is GENIUS! I’ve always loved potatoes and baked beans, but I’m sure SWEET potato with baked beans will be even better!

Hope your wedding projects are going well!

  3. ah, dinner w/ family is always great! and it’s not weird that you dip your fries in the baked beans; i used to eat my fries with ranch dressing! hahaha!

have fun w/ the wedding projects…!

  4. Whoa those sweet potato fries look so good. And I think the fry/baked bean combo is a GREAT idea, I love dipping fries into random things.

  7. I can totally understand the fries/beans combo–my favorite baked potato topper is baked beans!

  8. I am a Bush’s baked beans fan- I love how sweet and delicious they are. I don’t think dipping fries in baked beans is odd, actually it sounds like a pretty good idea. I like to use tortilla chips to scoop up the baked beans – or I dip my veggie burger with bun in the left over sauce… maybe I’m weird. Oh well, it tastes good.

  9. Mmm I never thought to put fries in baked beans, but that sound great! That dinner has just the right combination of flavors – add the cornbread and I’d be in heaven :)

  10. I know this is a super late comment, but I’m sad to say I am just now catching up on my blog reading. :( But I had to tell you, I do that with my fries too!! LOL I LOVE IT!!
