100 pushup

Posted by: Lindsay on: July 28, 2008

Hi Ya’ll… Hope your Monday went by super-fast like mine did…

I got home and was in a rush to eat something fast before I headed out the door, so I made up a lean turkey sandwich with dijon mustard & hot peppers on a foccacia roll that my mom had picked up… The roll, I’m sure looks good from the pic, but being as how I am the “queen” of english muffins as you guys say, I was missing the soft chewy texture that I normally have with a whole wheat english muffin! Oh well :) I actually tore off most of the top of the roll because it was just too much bread for me to stomach, it was a super thick roll! On the side, I had some pickles, some stewed tomatoes/peppers/onions, and thick potato wedges

Then I was off to spinning with my Dad, it was a good 45 minute class… I also did 3 sets of 15 incline “crunches”…

Now I’m off to go shower and maybe start the 100 push-up challenge that everyone has been doing, especially Sagan… I saw that the challenge is 6 weeks long, which coincidentally is how far away the wedding is… what a great accomplishment that would be… Then I could show off my ability to do 100 pushups at the reception – JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!

I’m also going to have a snack but not sure what yet… I’m actually still full from dinner so I’m going to wait a little bit :)

PS. As soon as I left work, my headache went away… think I’m allergic? Can I get a doctor’s note for that one ;)

I think I will do the 100 push up challenge with you!

Yep, my Monday DID go by super-fast – craziness!!

Good luck with the push-up challenge!!

Haha!! Too bad you CAN’T get a sick-note for work ;0)

I wish I had an MD, I’d give you that note :)

That 100 pushup thing is pretty cool. You should definitely try it before the wedding! I can only do girl pushups currently. Perhaps I should hop on the challenge…

My Monday was ALSO a complete blur!

I just wanted to say that I think it’s so great that you and your dad work out together! My dad and I used to go walking quite a bit when I lived back in Pennsylvania, and I really miss it!

I am always looking for new things to do with potatoes & sweet potatoes, these look good. Did you make them from scratch?

your potatoes look so good; i wish mine would come out like that! and that 100 pushup challenge sounds exciting…i think i might look into this! so g’luck w/ that! YOU CAN DO IT!

and if i were a doctor i would give you that note in a heart beat…:)

You are so funny! I could totally picture you doing 100 push-ups in your wedding dress. That would be hilarious :)

I actually want to try this 100 push-up challenge too. I can’t even barely do one, but I will certainly try this thing with you!

I have to say again how I ADORE your father/daughter workouts.
the pushing upward? NOT SO MUCH.

Im kinda burnt out on it now…

Sammie & Melissa ~ Unfortunately, I did not make these from scratch! They were straight out of a bag :o

All re: pushup challenge ~ Glad to hear that some of you are going to do this with me!!! I think that I will incorporate periodic updates on my progress so we can discuss it further :) Good luck!

Good luck with the pushup challenge! I wish I lived closer to my parents so I could work out with them more often! I can’t believe your wedding is so close! You must be thrilled!!!!

Thanks for posting this 100 pushup link, I really want to try this out!!

Aw thanks for the shout out! You should totally do the push up challenge and then perform at the reception- with much video taping and photographing, of course:) That would be so funny!
