Burger & Slices

August 24, 2008

By the time I got to eat lunch today, I was starving, but it was one of those moments when you are so hungry that by the time you eat, the littlest things will fill you right up! I had a Boca vegan burger on Arnold’s wheat bread (yes I think my English Muffin obsession may be over!) topped with spicy mustard & relish… The bread was absolutely amazing, considering it was toasted just right… On the side I had some apple slices smeared with a small amount of PB&Co. Mighty Maple…

After I ate, my mom pulled out some delicious tomatoes that my cousins had grown, so I couldn’t resist a couple of those… thanks Justin + Sean :)

It was a perfect lunch and I was shocked that I was full so fast… Around 3pm, I decided to have a snack since we weren’t having dinner until 6pm… a Kashi TLC Pumpkin Spice bar

All day today I have been working on printing/folding our wedding programs and I am happy to say that they are ALL done… Whew! My next project is working on the placecards and packing to move out of my house :( It’s a bittersweet feeling to know that in less than 3 weeks I will be married!

Now it’s off to get ready for dinner, Bill and I are heading out with his family to celebrate numerous birthdays that are occurring this month…

Happy Sunday :)

I always have my veggie burgers on bread. Rye bread specifically. Yum.

Aren’t those little tomatoes 100x better when they are home grown rather than bought at the grocery store? We have a little tomato bush in our yard and they are just BURSTING with flavour. I can’t stop eating them!

I think I inherited your english muffin addiction…

I bet you’ll be glad when all the wedding stuff is done!

Tomatoes off the vine, especially the little cherry/grape ones, are soooooo good. I’ve been growing them this summer and they taste really different than the store. I’m seriously addicted – before I get them into the kitchen they are gone into my mouth, lol. How are the pumpkin spice Kashi bars?
