Last night’s comedy show was a blast. It was held at my grandparents’ and aunt/uncles’ old church in northeast Philadelphia. We had a great time with my aunt, uncle, grandparents, and parents… and the comedians were hysterical! The first two were mildly funny, but the last one was REALLY great, I was almost crying I was laughing so hard.
My mom brought my favorite wine: Arbor Mist Strawberry White Zinfandel. I know, I like the classy stuff

Our dinner was served buffet style, so I made a big old salad for myself topped with Italian dressing.

Dinner consisted of a slice of ham, a piece of chicken parm, some potatoes, and string beans with pecans. I also went back for seconds on the string beans, but didn’t snap a pic of it!

I went back for another glass of wine…

And then I split one of my brownies, topped with confectioner’s sugar, with Bill. Our table loved the brownies, they were a big hit. So if you’re looking for an easy, but healthy dessert, I highly recommend the Nature’s Path brownie mix. I think I’m going to stock up!

All in all, I know my wine was not really crap-free, and I don’t think my dinner was, but I did my best and enjoyed every bite. I’m proud that I brought my own dessert with us and avoided the sheet cake with globs of icing on it (which looked so good!)
Now I’m enjoying our “Valentine’s Day” ~ we are celebrating today (Sunday) instead and I’m in my pj’s sipping coffee while Bill makes me breakfast! What a sweet hubby…
I have never seen that bownie mix before, I will have to keep my eye out for them.
What a fun night!! And hey, it all sounds crap-free to me, since you fully enjoyed everything!! That’s what counts
Sunday breakfast in PJs is my favorite =] You’re lucky to have a hubs who makes it for you!
pjs + coffee + hubby making breakfast = perfect morning
YES FOR BROWNIES!!!!!
