Zzzzz…

February 23, 2009

Before I begin, for those of you who. asked. about. the homemade Larabars, I made Angela’s variation, she truly perfected this recipe – they are awesome and for those of you who commented that it may be time consuming, it really isn’t!!!!  This weekend I’m going to attempt to make the pecan pie version!

Ok, so I felt really tired and drained from the weekend and wound up skipping out on exercise today.  Now looking back I feel kind of blah and wish I did some sort of workout, but oh well, tomorrow’s another day!

Instead of working out, I decided to make Polly’s pancake muffins because they intrigued me so much!  Instead of blueberries, I used 2 chopped apples instead.

They were so simple and I really couldn’t resist having one!

When Bill got home, I had dinner ready.  It consisted of leftover crinkle cut fries, sugar snap peas, and 93% lean ground beef burgers on Arnold’s ww sandwich thins

On the side, I had some applesauce

… and HFCS-free pickles ~ thanks Meghann!

I topped my burger with American cheese, hot peppers, and spicy mustard.

Yummy…

Ok, now I’m off to do some laundry and get our lunches ready for tomorrow…However, before I leave you, tomorrow I will be…

announcing something EXCITING tomorrow…

I can’t give any hints but it’s something that I’ve never done before and I’m really excited about it!!  And of course, it’s for a very special reason!  STAY TUNED.

PS.  Check out a new foodie blog :)

I always wonder why pickles sometimes have HFCS! I have noticed that my favorite brand, Clauson’s, has HFCS in some varieties and not in others. So strange!

It’s good that you found some pickles without HFCS. I know when you posted that yours had that in the, I checked mine, and they were fine.
