Hi Lovelies!!
Again I can’t thank ya’ll enough for your FABULOUS tips regarding running! Seriously, if you want some tips, just scroll through the comments section on this post and you will be completely educated by the amazing blog readers I have!
Anyway, now onto the FOOD! Just as an FYI, from this point on, it will be chaos in our house (can you tell I’m overdramatic yet?) so I won’t be responding to ANY comments, so please save any burning questions for after the moving fiasco is over when I return
Also, for the sake of time because we have a ton of little things to do tonight so we are all ready for our moving truck tomorrow, I’m going to keep my commentary to a minimum… I know, hold back your tears
Before I get to today… last night I splurged and had a small glass of wine (unusual for me on a weeknight!) and biscotti…

Strawberry chocolate whey protein oatbran w/ flax & sunflower seeds…

I really enjoyed the flavor of this yogurt but also missed the creaminess of Greek… oh well, I had to use it up!

Mmmmm, best lunch ever…

Pre-workout snack before Kempo X…

Post-workout snack…

Dinner was a Joe Corbi’s whole wheat pizza that we purchased from my favorite Boy Scouts (my cousins Justin & Sean)… It was a make-your-own kit and it was a great, easy dinner for tonight since I’m in the process of packing up all of our plates, cups, silverware, etc… I made some steamed broccoli and cauliflower on the side…

And with that, I am happy to say that we have successfully used up 90% of our perishable foods in the fridge… We have a few items left that we’re planning on eating tomorrow but for the most part we won’t have to throw out or waste any food
Also, wanna win a yummy Newman’s Own giveaway? Go here.
Who wants some Barney Butter?
Stay tuned tomorrow because the guest posts are ALL lined up for ya!
AW, Enjoy the move!! Seriously, I know packing and moving SUCKS, but enjoy it! We moved 3 years ago and I miss that “newness” of everything so really sit back and enjoy it!!!!
Yes, I’m commenting again ![]()
So I just caught up with ALL of my blog reading, finally, and saw your post about about the 5k. Now, I don’t know how long you’ve been reading my blog, but I was IN THE SAME BOAT….exactly. I always wanted to be a runner and tried numerous times, but hated it 3 or 4 weeks in. Well last year a bunch of us signed up for a 5k. I kind of trained for it, but figured after it was over, my running “career” was over. NOPE! The 5k was so excited that it made me want to run more than ever! It gave me this hunger to become a runner no matter what. I stopped for awhile but then started the C25K again. I had to start from scratch and hated it, but remembered how it felt after the 5k. And you know what? I know love running (most days anyway)
. I didn’t actually start liking it until I got into the 4 and 5 mile range and then it started to feel great!!!!!
So, my point is do the 5k and trust me, you will fall in love because it’s SO exciting being there amongst so many runners!!!!!
good luck with all the moving excitement!!!
good luck with your move!!! I hope everything goes smoothly!
YUM! Wine and pizza, awesome!
